Canada Post Strike - Update June 26
With the passing of Bill C-6, Canadians can expect to begin receiving mail again as early as Tuesday, June 28. To read the Canada Post statement, please follow this link . In quick summary here is what Canadians can expect and when:
- Monday, June 27 - Postal workers report back to work
- Monday, June 27 - Mailboxes across the country will be unsealed
- Tuesday, June 28 - Post offices that were closed will start to reopen and resume regular hours of operation
- Tuesday, June 28 - Canadian consumers and businesses will begin receiving mail
- Tuesday, June 28 - Mail pick-up from commercial customers will resume
